Man driving motorcycle killed in wreck (Greensboro News & Record)

WINSTON-SALEM - A man driving a motorcycle died Friday after colliding with another vehicle. Allen Royce Turner, 54, was traveling north on Old Lexington Road on a KTM motorcycle, according to a news release from police. For unknown reasons he crossed the center line while in a curve and collided head-on with a Chevrolet Cobalt that was traveling in the southbound lane. read more

Scanner reports out of Lee County report a man is headed to Collier County from Manatee county with guns, body armor and military training to kill someone. The report said the man was driving a 2008 Chevrolet Corvette and was located via his cell phone in the area of mile marker 210 on Interstate 75, which is north of Lee County. In Miramar, thieves took a liking to the mirrors on Chevrolet trucks. Someone stole the driver- and passenger-side mirrors from a 2007 Chevrolet truck in the driveway of a home in the 16100 block of Southwest 36th Court between 11 p.m. Dec. 26 and 7:30 a.m. Dec. 27.

Nothing yet! I bought this to replace the piece of junk 1995 Chrysler Cirrus just donated to charity (see my posting.."I was a dope..."). The Prizm is the same car as a Toyota Corolla, except with the Chevy name tag and a lower market value.

Oh boy, here we go. I just bought my Blazer in December of 08. It's only January of 09, and I'm already complaining. Okay. Had the thing for 2 days.. that's it, 2 days, and bye bye fuel pump. The dealer told me it was gonna cost me over $700 to fix this problem. I laughed and walked out.
